Rebellion at Eureka
the story is about a boy named Alfie how has to move away from Melbourne to the Eureka diggings with his mum. On the road they met a lady called Mary. The miners aren’t to fond of the mining licences that go around. So they start to take action against the government. The miners build a stockade to block out the police. There is a big battle and many die. It is on a road when Alfie and his mum make their way to Eureka. It was set in August 1854.
Some people who couldn’t find gold could go broke and be forced to leave the goldfields.
Many police were ex convicts and they go around around bullying the miners and demanding their gold licence.
Alfie and his mum came from Melbourne and wanted to become storekeepers at the eureka diggings.

I created my avatar using doppel me. It has blonde hair like me and fair skin also like me. It has got the same colour eyes as me and it looks very similar also my avatar represents me in the way I like my hair
My favourite genre of books is fiction because they have lots of action and are very exciting. Also I like adventure because it is interesting to read and it is adventuress.
I would suggest rangers apprentice oak leaf bearers by John Flanagan because it has lots of adventure and it is jam packed with action also it is extremely exciting and it wants the reader to keep reading.
In book chat I am reading toad rage by Morris glietzman. There is a cane toad called limpy and he wants to find out why humans hate them so much so he sets out into the dangerous cruel world to find out why they hate them. Limpy makes friends on his journey to help him and instead of stopping all this nonsense he finds a way to stop getting loads of dead relatives. Toad rage is a funny story and I would recommend it to people who like humour.
